MisPlana
The simple laser flatness measurement system.
MisPlana is an easy system used to measure the flatness of a strip, helping operator's to evaluate the wave of the defect.
Misplana gives as output the coordinates (X,Y) of the defect, the wave (Z) and others standard parameters useful to catalogue the defect.
Misplana can be used manually by line operators using a simple joystick, to place the laser head on the defect and perfrom a scan.
Misplana uses the most advanced laser heads available on market.
All calibrazions and zero processes are fully automatic, by hitting a button. Misplana can comunicate using TCP/iP and PROFIBUS standard protocols.
About MisPlana:
Kind of Measurement: Laser
Position : on defect
Number of Sources: 2
Laser Source: Standard Laser
Controller PC: Real Time Kernel
Output Digital and Profibus or TCP/iP
Use: Off-line or at line stopped.
Calibration: Fully automatic, after installation.
The system is made up by a solid square structure having the encoders and the guides for the laser heads. The Control Panel can be placed in field near the device.
MisPlana was created to help line operator's to evaluate defects on the strip. The use is easy. When a defect comes, operator, using a joystick control, moves the laser heads near the defect area, and starts a scanning process. The system will give as output the (X,Y axis) coordinates of the defect, the (Z axis) and other useful standard parameters.
